This is the second presentation I did at LeTourneau University on Jehovah’s Witnesses. Even though it was titled, “How To Witness To Jehovah’s Witnesses, it probably should have been titled, “How To Treat Jehovah’s Witnesses.” Most Christians are looking for a “silver bullet” verse, yet completely forget what the Bible says about how we should treat unbelievers. Although I do give a couple of examples of how to use the Bible to get a Witness to think, I spend the majority of this presentation explaining how we should respond to Jehovah’s Witnesses when they come to our door. There is also a good Q&A session afterwards. If you have questions, feel free to ask.

A Short Overview Of Jehovah’s Witnesses
Here is the video of a presentation I did last Monday called, “A Short overview of Jehovah’s Witnesses.” There were roughly 900 people in the audience and it was well received. Thanks Chaplain Carl and may God bless you, LeTournea and this presentation for His glory!
Some Tactics I Use With A Jehovah’s Witness Elder
I made a HUGE potential blunder today. I am a collector of Christian T-shirts and wear one almost every day. I am also a big San Antonio Spurs fan so when I found a t-shirt that combined two of my favorite things, well, you know I’m going to wear it. The problem is, I didn’t think about whom I was meeting with today when I dressed. I just put on a shirt and headed out the door.
I arrived at the restaurant before my friend and when he walked up to the table, I could see he was trying to read my shirt. Most people don’t look at it twice. They just assume it is a Spurs shirt. A very small percentage actually see it for what it is, but other people, like my Jehovah’s Witness friend, see a mix. He said;
JW: Worship Spurs?
I was completely dumbfounded. What in the world is this crazy Witness looking at? This was my shirt. Read More →
The New, New World Translation With A Jehovah’s Witness Elder
This weekend was a HUGE weekend for Jehovah’s Witnesses world-wide. There was an announcement made at their annual meeting about the release of a New, New World Translation. I am not sure what they are calling it yet, but the inside cover of the Bible says “Revised 2013.” If they go with the RNWT instead of the NNWT, then that would mean we have the opportunity to come up with all kinds of new acronyms. My wife and I called the NWT the “New Way to Twist it,” or just “The Twisted” for short. I’m guessing maybe this is the “Newest New Way to Twist it.”
I wanted to see if my friend would tell me about the new Bible because it I knew it would be a good topic of discussion and it would be suspicious if I brought it up, so I decided to ask a question to get things moving in the direction I wanted to go.
When I walked into the restaurant, JW1 and JW2 were sitting at a table with slight grins on their faces. They both had their new Bibles sitting on the table in front of them. Since it had been two weeks since we met last, I thought it natural to ask, “So what’s new?” Read More →
Every Former Jehovah’s Witness Needs To See This video
I spent this past weekend at the 35th annual “Witnesses Now For Jesus Convention” in beautiful New Ringgold, PA. I have been attending this convention since the late 90’s and have had the honor and privilege of speaking there six times. The convention is always one of the highlights of my year and this year was no exception. In fact, it was one of the best and most memorable ones ever.
I met a bunch of new friends, some of whom I am connect with on facebook and some of whom I was not. One of the former Witnesses I met is Melissa Bramer. She is a die-hard Green bay Packer fan, a very talented videographer and has a powerful testimony of how she came to Christ. The following video is one of her creations and needs to be seen by everyone who has ever been adversely affected by the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Read More →
