I was just sitting here studying and preparing for the fourth visit from our LDS missionaries when I came upon this verse in the Book of Mormon. It is found at 2nd Nephi 31:3–
For my soul delighteth in plainness; for after this manner doth the Lord God work among the children of men. For the Lord God giveth light unto the understanding; for he speaketh unto men according to their language, unto their understanding.
Oh, really? Then why the King FREAKIN’ James language?
I could not believe what I read today. I was checking one of the forums I usually visit on a daily basis and someone posted this notice.
Check your Driver’s License…
I checked mine and it was there. REMOVE YOUR’S RIGHT AWAY!!!! Check
your Driver’s License. . . Now you can see anyone’s drivers license on
the Internet, including your own, picture and all! Thanks Homeland Security!
Privacy, where is our right to it? I definitely removed mine! I suggest you all
do the same. Go to the website and check it out. Just enter your name, city and
state to see if yours is on file. After your license comes on the screen, click
the box marked “please remove” This will remove it from public viewing, but
not from law enforcement files.
I’ve seen notices like this before about phone numbers and addresses being made public, but my information has never been among those files… until now, that is. I couldn’t believe it. There I was looking at my picture, address and drivers license number.
I don’t know about you, but I am not stopping at just having my info removed, I’ve already done that. I am contacting my local and state representatives to find out who the bonehead is who decided to make this sensitive information public without my knowledge or consent. Someone should be fired. Click on the Public License Files to have your driver’s license removed.
