From The Jewel Box # 13

One day our family was sitting on our son’s bed after getting the kids up from their naps and we were playing around being silly. Our son made this interesting sorting sound so I copied it. We both sounded like pigs, but it was pretty funny. In the past, our daughter has accidentally snorted while she laughs so I asked her if she could snort too. Her reply was, “Mommy doesn’t like me to snort because she said it isn’t very ladyable.”

EM On “One Living Truth” Podcast

He contacted us and expressed the desire to interview me regarding the Impossible Gospel of Mormonism. I was honored to be a guest on the 33rd episode of Eric’s podcast. Ergun Caner

At this year’s EMNR conference, we had the privilege of hearing from Dr. Ergun Caner, the first former Muslim to become the President of a seminary. I just came across the following Godtube video and watched the whole thing. Ergun gives some great illustrations that he uses for Muslims about the gospel, grace and the Trinity. I thought they would be very beneficial for us to hear and then apply to our conversations with Jehovah’s Witnesses and Mormons. He also talks about the benefits of “one-shot” evangelism.

PBS: The Mormons

Tonight is the second part of a two part P.B.S. series on the Mormons. I taped the first episode, but have yet to watch it. I was hoping to get to that today, but thing got busier in the office than I anticipated. I did catch portions of it last night and it looked very interesting.

If you missed last nights show, you can watch it online at the PBS web site. Be sure the check out the whole section of the web site that is dedicated to the series. There are a number of different ways you can interact and get more information.
I am looking forward to seeing a section of tonight’s episode that was shown in preview last night. One of the LDS Apostles says, “It’s wrong to criticize leaders of the Church, even if the criticism is true.” How does that saying go about absolute authority?
