Role Playing Jehovah’s Witnesses And The Bodily Resurrection of Jesus Christ

I’ll be teaching about Jehovah’s Witnesses tonight at Community Bible Church in San Antonio, Texas. For the first 15 minutes or so, I will be role playing as a Jehovah’s Witness and attacking the bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ. I will then spend the rest of the class time correcting the errors of the Watchtower.

We will be meeting in room C130 from 7:00 to 8:30. Dinner is available at 6:30 for 5$ if you have it. If not, please join us anyway.

Before you ask, no, the class will not be streamed or recorded. We are working towards being able to do that in the future though.

Discussing New Light With A Jehovah’s Witness Elder

The Watchtower changes it doctrine so frequently, they had to come up with a doctrine to justify it. These changes are called “New Light.”

Our meeting started with a BANG and was full throttle for an hour and a half. Before I get into that, I want to explain how I arranged for us to be speaking about this topic today. If you read lasts week’s post, you saw how I took advantage of the opportunity to get into the study edition of the July 15, 2013 edition of the Watchtower magazine. Last week I shared some of my thoughts about the audio recording of a Swedish Fireside meeting where two Mormon Church historians, former seventy Marlin K. Jensen and Richard E. Turley Jr. were sent to Stockholm Sweden to answer the doctrinal and historical questions of a number of Swedish Mormon leaders, most notably, former seventy Hans Mattsson. Four Weeks Of Teaching about Jehovah’s Witnesses

Two Jehovah’s Witnesses are walking down a narrow alley in the inner-city. They come face to face with two Mormon missionaries. The alley is so narrow that one pair will have to allow the other pair to pass.
