Last Saturday (September 29th, 2012) the Mormon Church held its annual General Relief Society Conference. Two years ago my wife Becky had the idea of reaching out to the women who attend this conference with a message that there are those who want to help. Utah leads the nation in the use of antidepressants and suicide. There are plenty of Christians who minister to Mormons during General Conference, which is next weekend, but nothing has ever been done specifically to reach Mormon women during their conference.

ACLU Backs Freedom of Speech in Brigham City, Utah. Mormonism Does Not.
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormon Church) is currently hosting an open house for their newest temple in Brigham City, Utah. The open house is almost a month long (August 18th – September 15th) and is an opportunity for the public to see the insides of a Mormon temple.
Since the Mormon Church refuses to give explicit clarification of its teachings, some Christians feel compelled to politely engage the public with the intent of making a distinction between Mormonism and Christianity by handing out newspapers explaining some of the differences. I Agree With Moroni 8:18
Today is the annual “I Agree With Moroni 8:18” day. Why don’t Mormons believe their own scriptures? Not everything found in the Book of Mormon is wrong and Moroni 8:18 is one example of that. Unfortunately, since Mormonism continues to change, Mormons no longer believe this verse.
